The fashion design series is inspired by a Nintendo game Kirby (星のカービィ), retro game machines, and game icons.
Games like Kirby would help players call back memories and nostalgia while feeling a sense of belonging and community. They add happiness and satisfaction to people's lives but ease loneliness by creating virtual fantasy worlds. For example, games can host players' emotions, just as close friends. With the development of artificial intelligence, virtual reality technology, the game characters tend to have independent personalities and thoughts. So, the games will be more likely to be the ownership of human emotions, whether mental, visual, or sensory.
Kirby, the lovable hero of "Kirby the Star," has a creepy dark side, too, devouring living characters and absorbing them in search of something that can help him. After swallowing the whole of a world, the pink single-celled creature won't even burp but will keep its little red shoes on and continue its search for its next meal. Everything has a dark side, and most perfection is the product of imagination.
But what is the definition of beauty? Why do we categorize things according to established rules? There are so many things in life that impose a one-sided subjective consciousness on the masses, making humans live in a web of fiction. However, we must not lose our sense of judgment and our own understanding of the world, and each of us has the right to redefine it. I choose to indulge in my own imaginary world, enjoy my fictional country, do not accept the established rules of the world; being so-called "normal" is really not that important.
